• The photos you upload and the personalization text (your “toast,” names, dates, and messages) you submit for your custom keepsake

Your photos & content

The photos and personalization text you upload are used solely to produce your custom keepsake. We do not sell your photos, and we will not use them in our marketing, advertising, or social media without your explicit consent. We retain your uploaded content only as long as needed to fulfill your order and provide support, after which it may be deleted in the normal course of business. You may request deletion of your uploaded photos at any time by emailing hello@toastandframe.com.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:

• Stripe to process payments. Card details are entered directly with Stripe — we do not store your full card number.
• Klaviyo to send order and marketing emails.
• Shipping carriers (such as USPS and UPS) to deliver your order.
• Analytics providers to understand and improve how our site is used.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences, and understand site usage through analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions. Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

Email marketing

With your consent, we use Klaviyo to send promotional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We honor opt-out requests and comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. We will still send transactional messages related to your orders.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to complete your order, provide support, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and our site is served over HTTPS. Payments are handled by Stripe so sensitive card data never touches our servers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we collect about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information

If you wish to make a formal request, you may also use the heading “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in your message.

Children's privacy

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
